Welcome to Meadowbrook Parkway

Overview

Meadowbrook Park sits on Nall Avenue between 95th Street and Somerset Drive in Prairie Village, on the site of the former private Meadowbrook Country Club and golf course. VanTrust Real Estate purchased the roughly 136-acre property in 2010 and redeveloped it into a mixed-use community that opened in phases through the late 2010s.

The Park

About 80 of the site's 136 acres were preserved as a Johnson County-owned public regional park, which includes a community center, playground, pavilion-style picnic shelters, restored lake, and walking paths — plus a net addition of more than 500 trees as part of the redevelopment's stormwater and sustainability work.

Real Estate

The residential side of the redevelopment includes 52 single-family homes and 70 twin villa homes built by Lambie Homes, priced from $1 million and up, alongside 225 senior housing units and The Kessler at Meadowbrook, a 282-unit luxury apartment community.

Dining & Hospitality

The Inn at Meadowbrook, a 54-room boutique hotel, anchors about 5,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space on-site.

Schools

Meadowbrook Park is in the Shawnee Mission School District (USD 512), the same district serving greater Prairie Village.

Recognition

The redevelopment won the 2020 Capstone Award for community impact, and The Kessler at Meadowbrook separately won the 2019 Capstone Award for Best Multifamily Development.
